Using fire cement

Fire cement is used to seal the joints between single skin flue pipe sections, on the male end of twin wall flue adapters and at the joint of the flue with the stove. Apply fire cement to each surface to be joined and push the two parts together giving a little twist as you do so to ensure that the fire cement forms a good seal. remove and smooth any excess and wipe with a damp cloth to remove any residues.
