INTERNAL TYPE 1 Flue running straight up and then shifting to insulated flue for the roof penetration and outside portion.

EXTERNAL TYPE 2 Single skin flue running straight up then angling outwards, then insulated flue out through the wall and up.

EXTERNAL TYPE 3 Insulated flue running out of the stove, straight through the wall and up.
